Generative AI Policies

The use of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies is permitted only to improve readability, language quality, and clarity. Human oversight and control are mandatory, as AI tools may generate incorrect, incomplete, or biased results. Authorship implies responsibilities and tasks that must be assigned to and performed by human authors.

Authors must indicate whether they have used AI or AI-assisted technologies in the preparation of their manuscript. If AI tools have been used, the authors must include a declaration in the main manuscript file, before the list of references, titled:

"Declaration on Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies in the Writing Process"

with the following text (or equivalent):

The author(s) declare that during the preparation of this manuscript, I/we used [NAME OF TOOL/SERVICE] for [REASON]. After using this tool/service, I/we reviewed and edited the content, taking full responsibility for the content of the publication.
